Studio for Design Award
The American studio Crucial Detail was founded by Czech native Martin Kastner more than a decade ago and during its existence has become a major player in exclusive design for leading restaurants and best chefs. In addition to being named by The Future Laboratory as one of the world's 100 most influential designers, Kastner and Crucial Detail received a Global Innovation Award for Best Product Design for the Porthole, and Book Design of the Year Award for the Alinea book.
Infusion vessel the Porthole 390ml
A simple, beautiful glass vessel for infusion production, whose name suggests that the goal was to simply make a beautiful and simple product. The inspiration was just the window of Captain Nemo's submarine in the famous novel by Jules Verne. This "window to another world, space and time" originally originated for the Aviary bar. The interesting thing is that other production was funded by the Kickstarter campaign. The interest was enormous and thanks to this, Porthole can now be purchased by anyone who wants to be original.
